Our Mission

The Willows Event Center's mission is to connect and serve to inspire. Our Lubbock event center team is passionate about intentionally connecting with and serving our guests through the planning of life's most precious events. Our hope is to provide you with the support and inspiration to not only host your event with confidence but to truly enjoy your event.

Planted in Purpose

In 1992, Ron and Rick Betenbough started on a journey to deliver quality, affordable homes in West Texas. Ultimately, the father and son duo wanted to honor God through their business, Betenbough Homes. In 2016, Rick Betenbough surrendered his leadership of Betenbough Homes and stepped into a new season. As his new journey of engaging and equipping Kingdom business leaders began, the need arose for a location, an event space, to welcome and gather with these leaders from across the country and the world. The Willows Event Center was born in 2018 as the Lord provided the greater vision to open our garden and event center externally to host some of life's most cherished and sacred moments. This transition was in natural alignment with Betenbough Companies' greater purpose: To reveal God and His Kingdom through our work in the marketplace.

We expanded our elevated service experience in 2020 to offer full-service catering exclusively in-house including a banquet and kitchen team to better serve our guests.
